History Fair quick checklist:

• Does my board have a title (that is large enough)?
• Does my board have my name?
• Does my board have my thesis or big question?
• Is my board neat? Clear? Clean? Appealing? Attractive?
• Have I reread my research paper so that the information is fresh in my mind?
• Have I practiced my presentation?
• Have I shared the "why" in my presentation? (see rubric)
• Have I shared my thesis or big question in my presentation?
• Have I included enough evidence in my presentation? 
• Have I "proved" my thesis in my presentation?
• Are there any "extras" I need to bring or prepare?

Boards and papers! Due tomorrow (Thursday).

This weekend, purchase a display board and begin to gather images. We will talk about the criteria for the board on Monday.


Also, finish your assessment of the teams for our Pullman debate: Governor Altgeld, GMA, Atty. Gen. Olney, George Pullman, Eugene Debs, Jane Addams, Workers, Federal Troops, Rev. Carwardine to be handed in on Monday.
